Our Mission at WindBladeCircular
Dr. Tracy Benningfield
Dr. Tracy Benningfield — Founder & Chief Executive Officer
“Dr. Tracy Benningfield founded Wind Blade Circular Solutions out of a conviction that the wind energy industry’s most urgent environmental problem — the millions of tons of composite blade waste piling up across America — deserved a bold, practical, and permanent solution.
A Service-Disabled Veteran and multi-disciplinary leader holding a Doctor of Ministry, a Master of Divinity, and a Master of Business Administration, Dr. Benningfield brings to WBCS a rare combination of strategic vision, operational discipline, and mission-driven leadership forged through decades of service. Where others saw an intractable waste problem, he saw an opportunity to build something that had never existed before — a field-deployable, mobile recycling system that goes to the blades rather than waiting for the blades to come to it.
Dr. Benningfield leads WBCS’s government and OEM relationships, strategic partnerships, contract development, and long-term growth strategy. His deep commitment to community impact, environmental stewardship, and veteran-owned business excellence shapes every decision WBCS makes — from how it prices its services to how it takes care of its people.
Under his leadership, WBCS is pursuing its inaugural operations in Sweetwater, Texas — the site of the nation’s largest wind turbine blade stockpile — with a mission to transform that community’s most visible liability into jobs, sustainable building materials, and a model for responsible wind energy decommissioning across the country.”
Chief Safety Officer
Sean Aldrich
“Sean Aldrich brings over three decades of frontline safety leadership to Wind Blade Circular Solutions — experience earned not in a classroom, but in the field, where decisions matter and lives depend on getting it right.
A retired Fire Crew Chief with 32 years of active service, Sean has led crews through some of the most demanding and high-stakes environments imaginable. His career built in him an instinct for hazard identification, crew accountability, and rapid situational response that translates directly to the complex safety demands of industrial blade recycling operations. He holds both OSHA 30 and OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certifications — the latter qualifying him specifically for hazardous waste site operations, which is directly relevant to WBCS’s work at sites operating under active environmental enforcement. He brings hands-on expertise in fire safety inspection, occupational health protocols, and emergency response planning.
As WBCS’s Chief Safety Officer, Sean is responsible for building the company’s safety culture from the ground up — developing site-specific safety plans, establishing EPA and OSHA-compliant dust suppression protocols, overseeing respiratory protection programs for all field personnel, and ensuring that every crew member goes home safely at the end of every shift.
Sean’s philosophy is simple: safety is not a checkbox. It is the foundation on which everything else WBCS builds rests. His presence on the WBCS leadership team reflects the company’s core belief that taking care of the environment and taking care of people are not competing priorities — they are the same priority.”
